Designed for the Sony PRS-505, the Export E-books utility makes it easy to backup your e-books to CD or USB drive  and later restore your library to the same or new computer.  The Sony software allows you to import library items but not export them.  Furthermore the Sony software does not provide a mechanism to migrate to a new computer.  Users of the Sony PRS-505 run the risk of losing all the books stored on their computer that are not stored on their PRS-505.  Simultaneous loss or failure of the PRS-505 device and a PC hard drive will result in the complete loss of the library.  You paid for your books, now you can keep them safe!

Note: The Sony library is tied to your device.  You cannot use this software to copy e-books to another computer library unless your Sony PRS system is a registered device with that system.
